This is the gorgeous Christen Orchowski, when I was thinking in my head how I wanted to do her make-up I knew I wanted to do something that was like a superhero, something sleek and mysterious. I took the black eyeshadow all the way up to her brow, when I started applying the shadow I started to question if it was going to work out, because of how dramatic it was. I didn't know if the look was going in the right direction. BUT I am a true believer that there are no "rules" to make-up, sure I personally have guide line but what works for me doesn't always work for others, and vise versa. (People always come into Sephora saying "I can't,I love this look but I it doesn't look good on me" "I don't know how to put eyes shadow on" ect. Basically what I'm trying to say is that you never know if you don't try, and if you get discouraged its just make-up you cant take it off but sometimes great things come from the trying something new.) So I kept going with the look, I think of make-up kind of like sculpting the face, you can manipulate to create the desired look and sure enough I found a look that I was very happy with.

The products I used:

I used Onyx eyeshadow by B.E. and Kat Von D's palette True love, I used the color Benji. It was a metallic cream shadow. When i applied it with my finger it looked like gold flakes. I used a brush and combed it through her brows. On the lips I used Dior 917 lipstick mixed with the Benji shadow.
