This shoot I played the role of the art director and the stylist, my dear friend Amanda Cooper is behind the fierce makeup. Amanda is an amazing artist, she used to work for MAC and now we work together at Sephora. I am looking forward to doing more projects with her, stay turned for more pictures from this dope diggity shoot.

I recently just moved into a new apartment downtown, it use to be a hospital back in the 1800's and they kept it pretty much in its original condition. It has a non working old rustic piano and white cabinets in the long long hallway, when you walk through it you can feel the history in every step you take.

Minie has a little "time blam" foundation by the Balm on her cheeks and "onyx" eyeshadow by B.E. mixed with MUD's cream pallet in black on her lid's (I used this on her lips as well) I put a clear gloss on her lids to really match the shiny skirt!

For months I had been collecting tissue paper from random places, and this image of a fro, made out of tissue paper kept poping in my mind. So finally I had to try it, very out there avant garde but hey it kinda works :) I like the contrast of her skin tone with the snake skin and the colorful tissue paper.

We shot this in the basement of my new apartment, it has a very cool yet creepy feeling. I knew I had to do a photo shoot down there, it was hilarious because the basement is where the washer and dryer is located and its communal so everyone was walking by looking at us like OMG what is happening down there. It was such a cool vibe I love the angles that Zach Hill (photographer) got, its a different look for me, and baby I'm all about DIFFERENT :)

On Kelly I used MakeUpForever HD liquid foundation # 120, MAC eyeshadow "chrome" and MakeUpForever cream shadow (orange) NARS blue liquid liner on her top lid and NARS "Orgasm" blush.
