This is my version of a Geisha, creating this hair look was very trying on me. It was a definite challenge but I am happy with the outcome.

To create this look first off you have to have a lot of hair to work with. Second flexible AND strong hold hairspray, and probably 1000 bobby pins, I made "rats" so I didn't have to tease her hair and could create the illusion of thickness. a "rat" is a bunch of synthetic hair that you mold into the desired shaped and then wrap it with a hairnet. I then attach it to the head using bobby pins and then you mold the models hairs over the rat, and it provides the volume. Think of it like a better, softer version of a "Bumpit"
